Union RICKMAN [Parents] was born 8 Nov 1830 in Halifax Co., VA. He died a1 Jan 1907 in Cedar Co.,MO. He is buried  in Lindley Prairie Cemetery near Bear Creek, Cedar Co., MO. Union married four times. He married Sarah Hightower in Todd Co., KY in 1859.  He also married Nan SIMMONS.

Union was born 8 Nov 1830 and the first child of Robert and Perthena Strange Rickman. He was not in the 1850 Todd CO., KY census since he had apparently left home by then. He married Sarah Hightower in Todd Co., KY in 1859. Had three other marriages. He served as Postmaster at Bear Creek, Cedar Co., MO at one time. Bear Creek was actually the center of activity early on in Cedar Co., His brother, Alfred Thomas ran a hardware store there for some years but not much there today. Lindley Prairie Cemetery where they all are buried is about a mile to the west of Present day Bear Creek on gravel road off the highway.
