The I.G.I. lists a Theods. F. Callender married to Samantha A. Switzer on 25 Dec 1870 in Defiance, Ohio. This is the same date and spouse recorded for Thomas Franklin Callender recorded in the Eliza Brookens bible. I believe this is the same marriage and the same individuals.

Thomas Franklin Callender was born in Mount Eaton, Wayne Co. Ohio Feb 23 1842, and died Oct. 29 1894 aged 52 years 8 months and 6 days.  When 8 years of age with his parents he came to Hicksville, in which vicinity he has resided ever since.  He was married to Samantha Ann Switzer Dec. 25th 1870.  This union was blessed with 5 children one daughter who died in infancy and 4 sons.  At the age of 14 he wsa converted and became identified with the U.B. church of which he was a faithful member at his death.

Samantha Ann SWITZER was born 2 Oct 1848. She died 24 Feb 1897 and was buried in Hicksville, Defiance, Ohio. Samantha married Thomas Franklin CALLENDER on 25 Dec 1870 in Hicksville, Defiance, Ohio.  Samantha was the daughter of Jacob Switzer and Sarah Ann Crowel.
