Must have meant Myrle E. Dexter whose birth date I have as Aug 1889
from census.
1900 Census of Elm Creek Twp., Marshall Co. Kansas lists Edmund and
Mattie B. Dexter and four children.
1910 Census of Elm Creek Twp., Marshall Co. Kansas lists Edmund and
Martha B. Dexter and four children.
"Julia and her brother and sisters all born at Elm Creek."
George H. Dexter sent (31 May 1991) a wonderful old PICTURE of: "THE
EDMUND DEXTER FAMILY outside their Marshall Co., Kansas, farmhouse.
Little HAROLD looks about 5 years old, and JULIA about 7 which would
make the year about 1901. GRACE was 10 in 1901, MYRLE was 12, their
mother, MATTIE 38,and their father, EDMUND was 43. ED & MATTIE had
been married 15 years in 1901. Their home and windmill looks
substantial and approximately 10 years old. The house was built with
the same siding (clapboard) as his father's house. Do the four horses,
(two with colts,) and hired man belong to ED?
Myrle lived at ll00 1/2 Broadway, Marysville, KS at one time.
George Dexter sent the following info on 7/91: " Myrle's death date
4-1973, Marysville, KS."
