BAPTISM date & place & father's name all found on Family Search/IGI.
Place of birth found on material from SL that was a Parish Printout of
Hexham Parish, NBL. This record also included witnesses for Ann's
baptism: John Rowlans, Mrs. Mary Ritschel, (3rd person cut off the
record I have.) SAMUEL TEASDALE, (Ann's father) is a "MR."

Hodgson, 1902, page 374. For Thomas as follows:
'Thomas Teasdale of Newcastle and of Steel-hall; articles before mar.
18th Dec., 1722 (Bell Collection); died s.p (Brit Mus. Harl. MS. 1554, fol
29.) in his father's lifetime. By will dated 9th Jul, 1723, he gave the
Steel-hall to his father, and his lands at Slaley, the Lee, Hexham and
Thirlwall to his wife for her life, with remainder to his four sisters;
(Elizabeth, Jane, Mary & Anne) proved 17th Jan., 1723/4 (Raine, Test.
Ebor.)"
Thomas died 1723. His father Samuel died 1728. I have no records on
his brother, Samuel (b abt 1700) except for following from page 374:
"Samuel Teasdale of Steel-hall, administration of his personal estate 10
Oct. 1729, committed to his sister ANNE, wife of John Shackleton (Raine,
Test. Ebor.)"
MARRIAGE: According to the will of her grandfather Thomas Teasdale
#537, Anne was not married Mar 20, 1720-21.
"ANNE, SISTER AND CO-HEIRESS, MAR. JOHN SHACKLETON OF GATESHEAD,
AN OFFICER OF THE EXCISE (Brit Mus. Harl. MS. 1554, fol 29.), AND HAD
ISSUE 3 SONS AND 3 DAUS, VIZ: WILLIAM SHACKLETON OF NEWCASTLE,
ROGER SHACKLETON OF LONDON, SAMUEL, MARGARET, ELEANOR AND JANE;

Will of Jane Caward of Hexham, widow, one of the daughters and
co-heirs of Samuel Teasdale of Steel-hall, gentleman. 1728, 21 Oct.
I give all my right in Steel-hall, Riding, the Lee, Slaley, Palm-strother,
Baron-house, etc., to my three daughters, Margaret, Jane, and Anne and
their heirs. Failing them I give the same to my nieces, Margaret and
Elizabeth White, daughters of my brother-in-law, Mr. George White,
Margaret and Jane Shackleton, daughters of my brother-in-law, Mr. John
Shackleton, and the first and second daughters of my sister, Mary
Teasdale, if she marries and has any. etc. (see Jane Teasdale's notes)
