John R. HAGUE was born 24 Jan 1841 in Wayne Twp., Noble Co., OH. He died 1861.
:
BARBARA YOHO HAGUE SAID SHE HAD 9 CHILDREN AND 4 WERE LIVING
IN 1900 CENSUS. However there are 8 children listed in the 1850 census, plus the infant who b/died 1839,(and is listed in the Bible record of James Hart) plus another child, Isaac who was born in 1852. So that makes .
10 CHILDREN LISTED FOR BARBARA & JOSEPH HAGUE.

CENSUS-BIRTH: 1860 OF Wright Twp., Guernsey Co., Ohio. (WRIGHT TWP

Carol Minson comment: There were 15 stones in that graveyard. Only four had full
inscriptions on them. Two others contained the words "Mother" and
"Father". Another had the initials "T.H." on it and another had the
initials "J. H." on it and another had what looked like two slashes or "//".
This makes nine stones with writing of some sort on them.
As I am studying my field notes of that cemetery, I see something
missing.
I see from the drawings my husband made of the 15 stones (represented
by squares) that there are two "ISAAC" stones, two "JOHN" stones, a
"JEHU" stone and a "FATHER" and a "MOTHER" stone. The "T.H." and the
"J.H." and the "//" stones are mentioned on other pages of our fieldnotes.
But only one "ISAAC" and one "JOHN" and no "JEHU" are mentioned in the
other pages of fieldnotes. Neither is the large stone on which "JOSEPH
AND BARBARA HAGUE" and two of their children are listed. Nor is the
"MOTHER" and 'FATHER" listed with any extra info.
So I am left wondering if I am missing one page of fieldnotes. Perhaps
by combining:
l. the page that has numbered squares (squares represent gravestones)
and 2. the other field notes with their additional data,
3. plus the snapshot picture of "JOSEPH and BARBARA'S" grave - - -
we may cover all the information available about the HAGUE GRAVEYARD.
It is also possible that the graveyard needs be visited again for more
info.
It is difficult to find. Be sure and get a guide, if at all possible. |
