after.  They settled on Lot 18, Conc. 7 receiving 100 acres from the crown and buying 100 acres from Wm. Todd. . . had 10 children. (#l) Jane married Wm. Richardson;  (#6) Charles married Mary Whitfield, farmed in Cartwright Twp where many descendants live- two NHL hockey players,
Steve and Jeff are his great-great grandsons."

(Clifford Larmer is secretary of one of the cemeteries:) "I have been talking to my father who is Isaac Wilberforce Larmer and is 86 years old.  He tells me that Charles Larmer who was born May 2, 1834 and died Oct 30, 1892 and was buried in Cartwright near Blackstock was married to a Whitfield.  Charles Larmer was a son of James Larmer born in Ireland Nov. 9, 1798, came to Canada in 1818 and is buried in Centreville Cemetery in Cavan Twp.  I am not a descendant of this
Charles Larmer."

brick house was built in 1900.  His son Teasdale and wife Ruth Speiran
farmed here from 1877 and in 1917 his son-in-law Angus Brown.

his farm a 150 acres.

almost 21 1/2 when Ezra and I were married. Since 1926
I have lived in Kansas: Marion KS 16 yrs; Delaven KS 7 years; Waverly KS
11 yrs; and Garnett KS 12 years this last Feb 14, 1972."
