1989 May 22 letter from a Richard L. Williams, Rt #1, Quaker City, OH:
"about the Hague cemetery. . .I live about 1 mile from this Hague Cemetery. . .there were many family plots nearby their pioneer homes. Just north of the cemetery a few hundred feet was an old single room school house, was called the Hague School House. My Dad told me he hauled coal with a team and wagon to it one year, and I knew a neighbor lady, who taught school a year or so there. It has been gone for many years. . . .I knew a Henry Haague who has been dead for several years. He lived on a farm that joined one where the cemetery is. They had a large family, some are still living, but in their 80's. . .and a Taylor Hague, Seneca Twp, or Marion Twp, Summerfield, OH and a Charley of Sarahsville, all 3 deceased. Henry has daughters living, nearby".
(Later)
"I talked to the youngest dau of Henry Hague. Her brother and some of her sisters attended school at Hague one room school.house, but says not related to one buried in the cemetery. Says 3 or 4 familes of Hague's some with first name of Joseph or Joe. This Henry's wife's name was Jennie Stine from Braken's Ridge area east of Summerfield."
"I knew of two othere Joseph Hague's and some of their sons and daus and there homesteads were within 4 or 5 miles of this area. None of them seem to be related?"
