Deacon Jonathan HALLETT [Parents] was born 1693 in Yarmouth, Barnstable, MA. He died 24 May 1783 and was buried in Yarmouth. Deacon married Desire HOWES.

DEXTER, Worcester, MA. 1905.
p.14:"  ABIGAIL  DEXTER, . . . md. Jonathan HALLETT (30 June, 1683-4), the
son of ANDREW HALLETT, JR., of Yarmouth.  ( He was age 37, she was 20.)
After the death of his father (Mar 1683-4,) JONATHAN removed to
Yarmouth  and was the wealthiest man in that town.  He was constable in
1684.  They lived in the same house with his mother until her death in
1695, when he built a new house.  He was not an educated man, but
succeeded in getting together considerable property for those times.  He
died 14 Jan 1716-7, aged 69; his wife died 12 Sep 1715, aged 52, and
they were both buried in the old burying-ground at Yarmouth.  They had
nine children, all born at Yarmouth:"
p 15:  "DEACON JONATHAN HALLETT, b 1693; d. 1783; m 1719, Desire
Howes; eleven children."

Frederick Sheridan HOUGLAND [Parents] was born 6 Aug 1867 in Olathe, Johnson, KS. He died 16 Jul 1938 in Of Thompson Fall, , Montana. Frederick married Elda PRESTON.

1860 Nov 26 David and Sarah Hougland had a son. They moved first to a
farm near Lawrence and then to land near Olathe, KS.
David & Sarah had 7 children:  Cara Eugene, Mary Grace, Harry Walter,
Frederick Sheridan, Samuel Arthur, Roddy Proctor and Clarence Farmer.
Both David and Sarah are interred in the Olathe Memorial Cemetery.
(Source may have been Lydia Palmer 1888. )

Dale Hougland who has" Cornelius's personal Bible with hand written
family notes" said:  "I am the son of George Louis Hougland of Thompson
Falls Montana.  George's father was Frederick Sheridan Hougland who
moved to Montana from Olathe, KS after the Civil War.  Frederick's father
was David Proctor Hougland, of Barlow, Wash Co. OH.  David's father was
John, the first son of Cornelius and was also born in Barlow.

Elda PRESTON married Frederick Sheridan HOUGLAND.

Roddy Proctor HOUGLAND [Parents] was born 12 Mar 1872 in Olathe, Johnson, KS. He died May 1953 in Olathe, Johnson, KS and was buried in Olathe Memorial, Olathe, Johnson, KS. Roddy married Ina Rives ROBINSON on 20 Mar 1895 in Olathe, Johnson, Kansas.
