PALMER HISTORY, an unpublished 7 paged history of that township, by
Lydia Palmer,1881, of Browns Mills, Wash Co OH, pg 5-7, has extensive
biographical sketch of the HOUGLAND FAMILY. Pg 7: ANNA md Harris
Palmer of Palmer, this co (Wash, OH) where she still lives. Her husband
died in 1855. (CM comment: I did not use this death date.)
Their family consisted of six children, SARAH md George Camp in Sep
1855. She died in 1861:
EDWARD md Miss S. Jane Thornbury of Watertown, where he now resides;
JOSEPH died young;
RUTH md Ezra A Chapman of Barlow and lives on the old Homestead, with
his Mother;
EPHRAIM married Miss S. J. Stollar of Palmer, where he now resides:
and JOHN died young.
