managers, and accumulated a fine home and fine farm of abt 500 acres a mile north of Bartlett.  Here they raised their family.
1898-They sold this place and moved to Columbus, on a 95 acre farm they bought a mile east of the city.  Father died here.  Mother died at sister Lucy's, at Oceana, Va.

Twp., at Layman, Ohio, having the post office in his store.  He was a
justice of he peace for 16 yrs. . . prominently identified with the
Methodist Church.

They had 8 children:  GILBERT, ANGELINE,  TALMA, a son,  LUCY,  HANNAH,
ESTHER JANE and SARAH CLORINDA SMITH.

Angeline md William Thompson.  He bought property in Fairfield Twp in
1851 and after mg they lived there. He served in most of twp offices and
became county commissioner in 1880.
1881 He  was md and lives in Barlow Twp
1882 He organized the Barlow Fair about 1882 and was 1st pres of
Barlow Ag Board.  He owned and ran a grist mill for many years.
