"He was imprisoned for being involved in horse stealing, a plot thought up by his father and he reluctantly executed.  He was caught and sent to jail for two years.  Cora A was offered a divorce by the state as a customary action and she took it as she felt ashamed to live with a thief.  Later she regretted her rash action, but by that time she was md to Edgar Brim."

Cora was not a happy woman and often was heard to say that the difficult marriage with Edgar was the punishment for having divorced Clarence Miller.  Cora was a religious woman and prayed for the conversion of her husband, Edgar."

1941:  "William was appointed Lt. in  U. S. Army and then promoted to the rank of Captain when he rejoined the army in 1941.  Later, he was appointed Colonel and lived at the Grosvenor Hotel in London, U.K. while serving as Deputy Censor on General Eisenhower's staff during WWII. After the war, he became Principal of a grade school.  He returned to the military, and served in the occupation of Japan in 1949.  He then served in the Korean Conflict, and returned to the US in 11953 or 1954.  He worked at Fifth Army HQ and lived at Fort Sheridan, Il north of Chicago until his retirement.
1957 He died and was buried in Blue Rapids, KS.  Lois was born in OK and died in LA in 1987."  (Herb Strange.)
