1803: James Parker (the elder) was in Clermont Co as early as 1803.

In the 1820 Census, James appears to be living with his parents.
Based on ages, sex, and number of children appearing in the census, all
of the children were still at home except Lydia who had married William
Baldwin in 1819. Census as follows: Ohio, Clermont Co., Williamsburg
Twp., Roll 89 p. 3
James Parker 1 m under 10, 1 m 10-16, 1 m 16-26 1 m 45 and over 1 f
under 10, 1 f 16-26, 1 f 45 and over.
The oldest child of my James and Mary was born about 1823. It seems
likely that if he had married in 1817, there would have been a child
prior to 1823.
In trying to prove/disprove my theory that the James who married Mary
McKutty is not my James, I turned to Land Records and (From memory
unable to locate notes) in 1817, land was transferred to a James Parker
Jr (I believe the one who married Mary McKutty) from a James Parker Sr
and his wife Sarah. I do know that when I found the land record, I felt
that I had proof that James who married Mary McKutty was not mine but
the son of James and Sarah. (And the land probably a wedding present.)
1821: The will of James Parker (the elder) was written Jul 20, 1821
and went to probate Oct 4 1821. The will names wife Leah, son James
(called the eldest son), children William, Rebecca (called youngest
daughter), Abel. From the wording these children apprear to be under
21). The will also names daughers Jarusha Parker, Lydia Baldwin,
formerly Lydia Parker. Names wife Leah and son James Executors. Land
he owned in James Johnstons Survey No 5252 was left jointly to sons
James and William.
1827: James Parker (the younger) died 21 Jul 1827 (age abt 25)
intestate leaving wife Mary and 3 daughters Caroline, Delilah and Leah
Ann.

1827 p. 10
"On Saturday last, as Mr. James Parker, of this vicinity, was attempting
to swim his horse across the East Fork, at a deep place just below this
town, he was unfortunately thrown off and drowned. It is supposed that
during his struggle in the water the horse struck him with his feet, as
there was a considerable wound over one of his eyes. There was no
person present at the time; but the horse being at large, and a floating
hat led to the suspicion of what had happened. Search was immediately
made, and he was at length taken out, after having remained under the
water nearly an hour. All efforts to resuscitate him were unavailing. He
has left a wife and several children to mourn their loss."

Note: This is a brother to Jarusha Parker and is the person named as
administrator in the will of James Parker (the elder) which was written
Jul 20, 1821

2. In 1829 Census, Clermont Co, Williamsburg Twp, Roll 89, p. 3, James
Parker is enumerated next to a Joseph Mason, Thomas Thornburg, and
Isaac Fenton. A family story has James Parker (unknown whether the
elder or the younger) married a Mason. Mary Parker, widow of James
Parker (the younger) married Thomas Thornburg 23 Dec 1830 (CC
Marriage Records Book 2 p 387). A daughter of James (the younger) and
Mary Parker, married a Fenton.
"Our James (the elder who d 1821) named 3 sons in his will - James who
died 1827 had 3 dau and 0 sons, Abel who I believe died c 1833 without
marrying (note: I don't have this in my computer but am doing the info on
Abel from memory -- always dangerous) and William who married
Patience but whom I have not found after the deeds were written. My
GUESS is that they moved away from Clermont Co." Lois Derrough
