My mother, Ruth Kathryn Callender Carbiener, was born October 8, 1908.  I always thought it was Silver City, UT, as she even told me herself that was where it was.  However, upon her death  in January 19, 1995, I got her birth certificate and found that she was born in Robinson, UT.  This was only a mile or two from Silver City, where Oza, her father, was the stationmaster for the railway.  This is in the Tintic Mining district in Juab County near Eureka, UT.  Today, Silver City, Robinson and most of the other towns born of the mining boom are nothing but memories. However, at the time, Robinson was the town that had the hospital and that is why she was born there.  Her brother Jack, real name Oza Ellis Callender, was born in Tooele, UT, on December 3rd, 1904.

Earl V. ROTHFUSS [Parents] was born 16 Apr 1890 in Ames, , KS. He married Zeda May GIBSON.
