OBIT extracts: Mrs. Hays has been ill for some time and in hopes of regaining her health she was taken to Omaha for an operation, but did not survive. She died March 29th and the remains were brought to Cozad for burial. . . ME church. (She died or peritonitis.Look it up.)

Obituary from Sterling, Colo paper: (extracts) (Cornelia's father) John Hague born in Guernsey Co. Ohio, Jan 29, 1825....grew up to manhood there. Thirty years ago (1874) he moved to central Missouri, later moving to Nebraska.
Sixteen years ago (1888) he located in the South Platte valley in Colo (Sterling, Colorado)where he has since resided.
Deceased md at Plymouth, Washington Co. Ohio to Ansina smith, Dec 20,
1851. Ten children were born, all of whom survive. They are:

Mrs. J. M. Bowlin and Carroll Hague, Mounds, Indian Territory.
George Hague, Sheridan, Missouri.
