"GENEALOGICAL NOTES OF BARNSTABLE FAMILIES, REPRINT OF AMOS OTIS PAPERS" Revised by C.F. Swift, Barnstable, MS, 1888. pg 500, 505. "tradition says she was only 14 at marriage, ...mother of twins before she completed 15th year...died in the spring of 1694" (more on pag 505.)
"That she was very young when married, the known age of her mother confirms. After the death of her husband, she occupied the easterly part of his house. Her grandson John Bourne resided with her, and her son Jonathan occupied the west part of the house. She died in the spring of 1694, leaving a will dated June 23, 1684." Tradition relates that Anne's mother had children 15 years younger than her grandchild Abigail.
