1841 Jul 26:   Thomas Minson, was born in Leamington, Warwick, England. Son of John and Ann (Baker) Minson.

1856 Jan 16:    Thomas Minson (14) was baptized into L.D.S Church by Robert F. Neslin.

1856 Jan 20:     Confirmed  by David B. Dilley. 

1857 Feb 4:       Thomas ordained a Deacon by Robert F. Neslin.

1859 Mar 16:    Thomas (17) ordained a Teacher by James Evans.

1862 Apr 23:    Thomas (age 20) migrated from England to Utah. Occupation:       Shoemaker & Harness Maker. Height 5ft. 8 in.  Weight 145 lbs.  Hair: brown.

1864 Jun 4:     Arrived in Paris. Thomas “built first log house, one of ½ dozen in Paris.” 

1866 Jan:          Thomas (24) ordained an Elder by Alex Stalker.

1866 Dec 14:    Thomas (25) married Catherine Ward (15) at Smithfield, UT.

1867 Jul 5:     Thomas & Catherine “moved to his house in Paris.”               

1869 Jul 12:   According to Thomas’ vol 3, pg 8, #127, he and Catherine were       were endowed & sealed in the Salt Lake Endowment house

1870 fall:      Thomas “started to build a log house on his farm outside of Paris.”

1871 Jan 3:    He finished new log house on the farm. Catherine gave birth to Hyrum Edward.   

1874 March:    “Bought 2 city lots and moved into Paris.”

1877 Mar 14:  “Foreman in Co’op Shoe Shop. . .for 7 years.”

1879 Jan 6:       Thomas given a Patriarchal blessing by James Works.

1882 Aug 10:     Thomas married Sarah Ann Taylor.

1884 Sep 21:     Sarah’s 3 day old baby, Wilford Minson died.

1884 Sep 22:  Sarah died of milk fever.

1887 Sep 7:    Built and moved into the new log house on the farm.”  

1892 Nov 19:   Departed from Salt Lake for mission to Cheltenham, Eng.

1893 Jan 21:    Thomas called to preside over Cheltenham Conference.                                                      

1894 Nov 15:   Thomas left for home from Liverpool, England on the

                         steamship Furnessia.

1900 Feb 3:Moved from my farm to shop which I had built on the corner of Main & 1st N.” 

1900 Aug 5:     Thomas ordained High Priest by James Nye.  He had been      ordained a Seventy by Abraham H. Cannon on 11 May 1884.

1901:               “Subsequentlly added 2 rooms on the W side ground floor & 3 rooms upstairs.

1911 Apr 3-May 13: “Recorded about 600 names from the Genealogical

                              Society Records.

1915 Feb 13:           “I turned over my stock of candy, groceries, stationery etc, to Jesse Minson – also my        stock in Shoe and Harness Shop to Moroni Minson to be paid for by installments.”

1915 Apr 1:                  “Wife and I left Paris for Salt Lake City.”

1920 Jan 15:     Death of THOMAS MINSON
